Genuine Rosewood

Each knob is made from genuine rosewood, chosen for its rich colour, distinctive grain and traditional appearance.

As rosewood is a natural material, variations in colour, tone and grain are to be expected. These differences give each pair its individual character and are not considered imperfections.

Unlacquered Polished Brass – A Living Finish

The solid brass backplates are polished to create their bright, warm appearance but are intentionally left unlacquered.

Without a protective lacquer coating, the brass will naturally react with its surroundings and gradually develop a patina. Recessed areas may become deeper in tone while frequently handled areas can remain brighter.

This natural ageing is part of the character of unlacquered brass. If you prefer the original brighter appearance, the brass can be periodically cleaned with a suitable brass polish.

Suitable for Rim & Mortice Applications

The removable backplates provide additional flexibility, allowing the knobs to be used with rim locks, mortice locks or tubular latches, depending on your door setup.

For mortice applications, our Complete Door Kit provides the knobs together with a compatible heavy-duty tubular latch and CE7 Grade hinges.

Ideal for Period & Contemporary Interiors

The combination of dark rosewood and warm polished brass works particularly well with Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and cottage interiors, while the clean proportions also make these knobs an attractive choice for newer properties seeking a more traditional finish.
