This Pewter Cast Iron Regency Rim Lock is supplied with a matching pair of ebonised wooden beehive door knobs, complete with solid brass backplates in an aged brass finish. A well-balanced internal door set that combines period character with dependable everyday function.

The rim lock is manufactured from solid cast iron and finished in a hand-aged pewter. It is a dual-handed thumbnail rim latch, suitable for both left and right hung doors. Please note the latch itself is not reversible.

Designed for internal use, the lock features a 50mm spindle to door edge measurement for comfortable operation. An integrated emergency release allows access from outside the room, making it suitable for bathroom and WC doors. Each lock is hand finished and supplied complete with a matching keep and all required fixing screws.

Please note: when paired with this knob set, the backplates are too large to allow use of the emergency release function.

The beehive door knobs are crafted from ebonised wood, offering the appearance of ebony at a more accessible price point. Their classic ridged profile provides both visual interest and a tactile grip. The solid brass backplates are finished in unlacquered aged brass, allowing the surface to develop a natural patina over time.
