This Pewter Cast Iron Regency Rim Lock is supplied with a pair of heavy solid brass Bloxwich door knobs, finished in an unlacquered aged brass. A classic and weighty combination, well suited to period properties and traditional interiors.

The rim lock is manufactured from solid cast iron and finished in a hand-aged pewter. It is a dual-handed thumbnail rim latch, suitable for both left and right hung doors. Please note that the latch itself is not reversible.

Designed for internal doors, the lock features a 50mm spindle-to-door-edge measurement for comfortable everyday use. An integrated emergency release allows access from outside the room, making it suitable for bathroom and WC doors. Each lock is hand finished and supplied with a matching keep and all required fixing screws.

The Bloxwich door knobs are crafted from heavy solid brass and left unlacquered to allow the aged brass finish to develop naturally over time. Weighing approximately 1kg per pair, they offer a substantial feel and long-lasting durability.

The removable backplates allow for easier fitting and adjustment, helping achieve a clean and well-aligned installation across a wide range of internal doors.

Please note: when paired with this knob set, the backplates are too large to allow use of the emergency release function.
