Black Brass Olde Victorian Rim Lock with Teak Polished Brass Beehive Door Knobs
This Olde Victorian black and brass rim lock is supplied with teak beehive door knobs and unlacquered polished brass backplates, creating a beautifully authentic period look. It is an excellent choice for Victorian and Edwardian properties, renovations, and traditional interiors.
Inspired by original Victorian door furniture, this flanged rim lock features ornate detailing that reflects classic 19th-century craftsmanship. The design later saw renewed popularity during the 1920s and 1930s, particularly on Pitch Pine doors, and remains a timeless option for heritage homes.

Door Knobs
The beehive door knobs are crafted from genuine teak wood, prized for its strength, stability, and warm natural grain. Each knob is carefully finished to highlight the character of the wood, making every pair subtly unique.
The reeded backplates are manufactured from solid brass and finished in unlacquered polished brass. This allows the brass to age naturally over time, developing a rich patina that enhances the antique character of the door furniture.
The knobs are unsprung for smooth operation and are supplied with removable backplates, allowing them to be used with rim locks or as mortice knobs when paired with a suitable tubular latch. All fixing screws and a 110mm threaded spindle are included.
