Black Brass Olde Victorian Rim Lock with Teak Aged Brass Bun Door Knobs
This Olde Victorian black and brass rim lock is supplied with teak bun door knobs and aged brass backplates, creating a traditional door furniture set that is well suited to period properties and character interiors.
Designed in keeping with authentic Victorian styling, this flanged rim lock features ornate detailing inspired by original 19th-century designs. First used during the Victorian era and later revived in the 1920s and 1930s, this style was commonly fitted to Pitch Pine doors and remains a popular choice for heritage homes.
Please note: this rim lock has a non-reversible latch and must be ordered to suit the correct door handing.

Door Knobs
The round bun door knobs are crafted from genuine teak wood, valued for its strength, durability, and warm natural grain. Teak offers excellent resistance to everyday wear, making these knobs both practical and visually appealing.
The solid brass backplates are finished in unlacquered aged brass, allowing the surface to naturally develop a subtle patina over time. This evolving finish adds depth and character, enhancing the traditional appearance of the door furniture.
The door knobs are unsprung for smooth operation and are supplied with removable backplates, allowing them to be used with rim locks or as mortice knobs when paired with a suitable tubular latch. All fixing screws and a 110mm threaded spindle are included.
