Black Brass Olde Victorian Rim Lock with Ebony Antique Brass Bun Door Knobs
This Olde Victorian black and brass rim lock is supplied with genuine ebony bun door knobs and antique brass backplates, creating an authentic and well-balanced period door set suited to traditional and heritage interiors.
Inspired by original Victorian designs, this rim lock reflects the ornate detailing commonly found on doors of the era. It later saw renewed popularity during the 1920s and 1930s, particularly on classic Pitch Pine doors in period homes.

Door Knobs
The round bun door knobs are crafted from true ebony wood, offering a deep, rich colour and excellent durability. The smooth bun profile provides a subtle and understated appearance that works beautifully in both Victorian and Edwardian interiors.
The solid brass reeded backplates are finished in a lacquered antique brass, giving a consistent aged appearance while protecting the finish over time. The backplates are removable, allowing the knobs to be used with rim locks or as mortice knobs when paired with a suitable tubular latch.
These are genuine ebony knobs, not ebonised alternatives, making them a premium choice for traditional properties.
