Solid Brass Parrot Arts & Crafts Finger Plate

Solid Brass Parrot Finger Plate – Unlacquered Solid Brass

Bring character and traditional elegance to your doors with this beautifully detailed Solid Brass Parrot Finger Plate. Featuring an ornate parrot surrounded by scrolling flowers and foliage, the design takes inspiration from decorative door furniture found in period homes.

Made from heavy cast solid brass, the finger plate has a substantial, high-quality feel while helping to protect your door from fingerprints, scuffs and everyday wear.

Unlacquered Brass – A Living Finish

This product is made from unlacquered solid brass, meaning there is no protective lacquer coating over the surface. The brass will therefore naturally age and develop a patina over time, with the appearance gradually changing through handling and exposure to the surrounding environment.

This natural ageing is part of the character of unlacquered brass and makes each piece increasingly individual. If you prefer the original brighter appearance, the brass can be polished periodically to remove the patina and restore its shine.
