Rim Lock Details
The Davenport rim lock is crafted from solid brass and finished in unlacquered polished brass. It is a faithful reproduction of original period designs and is suitable for a wide range of traditional interiors. The unlacquered finish allows the brass to age naturally over time, developing a rich patina. If preferred, the surface can be polished to restore its original shine.
The lock offers a comfortable 5 inch spindle to edge distance and a balanced projection, ensuring smooth operation while maintaining an authentic period appearance.
Teak Beehive Door Knobs
The teak wooden beehive door knobs provide warmth and contrast against the polished brass fittings. Teak is valued for its durability and rich natural colour, making it well suited to traditional interiors. The beehive design offers both visual appeal and a comfortable grip.
Supplied as a pair and weighing approximately 600 grams, these knobs are suitable for use as either rim knobs or mortice knobs. The solid brass backplates are unlacquered to match the rim lock and will age naturally over time.
