This Pewter Cast Iron Regency Rim Lock is supplied with a pair of true ebony wooden beehive door knobs, complete with unlacquered polished brass reeded backplates. A refined and traditional combination, ideal for period interiors and classic restoration projects.

The rim lock is manufactured from solid cast iron and finished in a hand-aged pewter. It is a dual-handed thumbnail rim latch, suitable for both left and right hung doors. Please note that the latch itself is not reversible.

Designed for internal doors, the lock features a 50mm spindle-to-door-edge measurement for smooth operation. An integrated emergency release allows access from outside the room, making it suitable for bathroom and WC doors. Each lock is hand finished and supplied with a matching keep and all required fixing screws.

The beehive door knobs are crafted from genuine ebony wood, valued for its deep colour, density, and durability. The classic beehive profile offers a comfortable grip and strong visual presence. Unlacquered polished brass backplates are designed to age naturally over time, developing a rich patina that enhances the traditional character of the set.

Please note: when paired with this knob set, the backplates are too large to allow use of the emergency release function.
