This Pewter Cast Iron Regency Rim Lock is supplied with a pair of 40mm solid brass cottage door knobs in an unlacquered polished brass finish. A classic combination suited to period properties, traditional interiors, and heritage-style renovations.
The rim lock is manufactured from solid cast iron and finished in a hand-aged pewter, giving it an authentic, timeworn appearance. It is a dual-handed thumbnail rim latch, suitable for both left and right hung doors. Please note the latch itself is not reversible.
With a 50mm spindle to door edge measurement, this lock provides comfortable everyday use. An integrated emergency release allows access from outside the room, making it suitable for bathroom doors where privacy and safety are required. Each lock is supplied complete with a matching keep and all necessary fixing screws.
The 40mm cottage door knobs are crafted from solid brass and supplied in an unlacquered polished finish. Over time, the brass will age naturally, developing a softer patina if left untreated. Their compact size makes them ideal for smaller internal doors while retaining a traditional cottage look.
