This Pewter Cast Iron Regency Rim Lock is supplied with a pair of true ebony wooden beehive door knobs, complete with lacquered antique brass fixings. A classic and characterful combination, ideal for traditional interiors, period properties, and heritage restoration projects.

The rim lock is manufactured from solid cast iron and finished in a hand-aged pewter. It is a dual-handed thumbnail rim latch, suitable for both left and right hung doors. Please note that the latch itself is not reversible.

The lock features a 50mm spindle-to-door-edge measurement, providing smooth and reliable operation. An integrated emergency release allows access from outside the room, making this lock suitable for bathroom and WC doors where safety is required. Each lock is hand finished and supplied with a matching keep and all necessary fixing screws.

The beehive door knobs are crafted from genuine ebony wood, chosen for its deep colour, density, and durability. The distinctive beehive profile features raised ridges that provide both visual interest and a comfortable tactile grip. The solid brass backplates are finished in lacquered antique brass, offering a warm aged appearance with a protected surface.

Please note: when paired with this knob set, the backplates are too large to allow use of the emergency release function.
