Black Brass Olde Victorian Rim Lock with Teak Antique Brass Bun Door Knobs
This Olde Victorian black and brass rim lock is supplied with teak bun door knobs and antique brass backplates, forming a refined and traditionally styled door furniture set ideal for period homes and character properties.
Faithful to original Victorian designs, this flanged rim lock features decorative detailing that reflects the craftsmanship of the era. First introduced in the Victorian period, this style saw renewed popularity during the 1920s and 1930s and was commonly fitted to traditional Pitch Pine doors.
Please note: this rim lock has a non-reversible latch and must be ordered to suit the correct door handing.

Door Knobs
The round bun door knobs are crafted from genuine teak wood, chosen for its natural durability, warm colouring, and distinctive grain. Teak is well known for its resistance to wear, making these knobs a practical and long-lasting choice for everyday use.
The solid brass reeded backplates are finished in lacquered antique brass, adding a subtle aged appearance while helping to protect the finish and reduce ongoing maintenance. The textured reeded detail enhances the traditional aesthetic and pairs perfectly with the teak wood.
The door knobs are unsprung for smooth operation and are supplied with removable backplates, allowing them to be used with rim locks or as mortice knobs when paired with a suitable tubular latch. All fixing screws, a 110mm threaded spindle, and an Allen key are included.
