Black Brass Flanged Rim Lock with Ebony Aged Brass Bun Door Knobs
This black brass flanged rim lock is supplied with genuine ebony round bun door knobs and solid brass reeded backplates finished in aged brass. The deep, dark tones of true ebony contrast beautifully with the characterful aged brass finish, making this set ideal for period properties, cottages, and traditional interiors.
The surface-mounted rim lock is key operated and well suited to bedrooms, bathrooms, timber doors, cottage doors, sheds, gates, and greenhouses. Supplied complete with two keys and all fixing screws, it offers dependable privacy with a straightforward installation.
Please note: the latch is fully reversible and can be adjusted by hand, allowing the lock to be fitted to both left and right-hand opening doors.

Door Knobs
The round bun door knobs are crafted from true ebony wood, offering natural depth of colour and a refined finish that cannot be replicated by ebonised alternatives. Their smooth, rounded profile provides a comfortable grip while maintaining a timeless appearance.
The reeded backplates are manufactured from unlacquered solid brass and finished in aged brass. Over time, this finish will continue to develop a subtle patina, adding further character and authenticity. Both backplates are removable, allowing the knobs to be used as rim knobs with this lock or as mortice knobs when paired with a suitable tubular mortice latch.
