Black Brass Olde Victorian Rim Lock with Teak Antique Brass Beehive Door Knobs
This Olde Victorian black and brass rim lock is supplied with teak beehive door knobs and lacquered antique brass backplates, creating a refined and authentic period finish. It is ideally suited to Victorian and Edwardian properties, restorations, and traditional interiors.
Designed in keeping with original Victorian door furniture, this flanged rim lock features decorative detailing inspired by 19th-century craftsmanship. The design later saw renewed popularity during the 1920s and 1930s, particularly on Pitch Pine doors, and remains a timeless choice for heritage homes.
Please note: this rim lock has a non-reversible latch and must be selected for the correct door handing.

The solid brass backplates are finished in lacquered antique brass, offering a classic aged appearance while protecting the surface from tarnishing. This ensures the finish remains consistent and low maintenance, making it ideal for everyday use.
The knobs are unsprung for smooth operation and are supplied with removable backplates. They can be used with rim locks or as mortice knobs when paired with a suitable tubular latch. All matching fixing screws and a 110mm threaded spindle are included.
